I was so impressed by the care that my uncle received while in an Assisted Living Facility in Lambertville, NJ. Erin the PT was exemplary in her care for my uncle. She was always on time and communicated with me on a regular basis. She was caring and sweet during her care for him. She made us feel so comfortable knowing that he was getting the best care during this time. I want to thank Erin specifically for how she treated my uncle and her wonderful bedside manner and attitude. She is a shining star of your organization!
WONDERFUL SERVICE!!!!!!!!! In February 2022, my beloved 86 year old mother - Sheila - was admitted to the hospital for 3 weeks, followed by a 6 week stay in a rehab center. Though we were eager to get her home, my whole family – ESPECIALLY my mom – was worried about the transition; she had such great, hands-on care at the rehab center and we were concerned she wouldn’t thrive back at home. Each VNA staff member who was assigned to my mom was INCREDIBLE - - Cynthia (Admin Nurse), Myles (Social Worker), Krupa (Occupational Therapist), Tom (Physical Therapist), Encar (Nurse) and Gilbert (Nurse). Each one was friendly, patient, caring, knowledgeable, responsive and thorough, and we actually looked forward to every visit. Krupa, Tom and Encar, in particular, played critical roles in my mom’s progress - - not only monitoring her vitals, but also implementing exercise routines to keep her bones strong and establishing processes & procedures needed for her to physically navigate thru each day. The VNA was an absolute NECESSITY and we couldn’t have managed without it. Thanks to the VNA, my mom has been up-and-running and doing great ever since!!!
I want to thank VNA for their services these past few weeks. I had a quadruple bypass at the end of October. VNA responded immediately for home care. The first nurse who "checked me in" really did not do a good job. She spent a half hour entering my medications list into her computer, but she did not fill out the proper paperwork for my case worker or my PT.
Despite this, I had a tremendous experience with Team 63 with Cheryl as my case manager and Rick Duncan as my physical therapist. Rick was extremely personable and knowledgeable. He helped me literally "get back on my feet." I always looked forward to his visits. His gentle manner really motivated me.
Cheryl, my case manager, was remarkable. She was extremely knowledgeable and was able to help with certain issues that my doctors did not address. For example, I had stomach issues after my surgery, and she was able to recommend Pepcid to alleviate my problem. She was always high energy and very positive. Like Rick, I looked forward to her visits She also was extremely motivating and helped me understand what I was going through and what to expect as I recovered.
Kudos to both of them!!
I have been very lucky with the nurses and the nurses aides I have been sent to care for me. Tracey was my aide that was sent to help me with showering and cleaning and she was absolutely wonderful. Not only did she do a wonderful job helping me wash up but she was also very caring and after she left I actually felt my spirits were raised no and I felt really good. She is WONDERFUL. I have requested to have her continue my home care. My wound nurse Sara is also a great person. She is upbeat and kind and I feel so confident that she is helping with my wounds. I couldn’t ask for a better nurse. All in all Tracey and Sara are angels sent from heaven to help me and I am so very thankful.
