I brought my 10 year old daughter to see Dr. Vinal Patel. My daughter has been complaining of headaches, but has never worn glasses before. I was nervous to take her to the eye doctor because of bad experiences in the past where doctors rusb through the exam to get to the next patient. To my surprise, this appointment was unlike any other. From the beginning of the appointment, Dr. Patel made my daughter feel very comfortable. She did some small talk, while trying to better understand the circumstances of the visit through my daughter's responses. She took her time to exam my daughter's eyes, allowing her to take short breaks and blink before reading a chart. I was really impressed with Dr. Patel's bedside manner. Even during dilation, my daughter felt uncomfortable but Dr. Patel again made her feel at home by comforting her and giving her a glass of water. It was really sweet. She also took the time to double check her vision before providing a prescription. I highly recommend Dr. Vinal Patel for anyone looking for a doctor that is passionate about patients and ensuring proper eye health, while being human and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
