I joined the Adult Beginner class after my son began taking classes here in 2021. I thought it would just be fun to have something that we could share in common, it has been so much more than that! The instructors are supportive and very patient, they understand taking that first step to try something new is probably more difficult for us as adults than as children. Because of their dedication, I have truly fallen in love with the art of Karate. For any adult that may want to follow an old dream or maybe a new one in the martial arts, I highly recommend this studio.
My daughter started a few months before turning 4. She has since gone through developmental stages. Her instructors have always been compassionate, patient, and kind to her. She’ll be 8 soon, and I’m happy to see how karate gives her a sense of belonging and directions.
My son Joey loves learning from Mr. T! They have a great bond. I love that karate promotes respect, self control, and self discipline. I see these characteristics in all of his life! He loves learning new combinations and had a great experience at his first tournament in the spring. I would recommend this location to anyone!
Our son has grown so much here over the past year and looking forward to watching him continue his karate journey! The staff is so supportive.
Villari’s has been a great for our son in so many ways. The core values they help instill, the activities they schedule, and the focus on achievement has all contributed to his development as a young person. He’s 7 so yes, he forgets these things sometimes but a quick reminder of the rules of respect, self control, self discipline and he’s right back to the right mindset. Additionally the instructors are TREMENDOUS with the kids. I’d swear they have backgrounds in early childhood education but it appears they simply love it and they’re really well trained.
