  I learned about Victory Hill in 2020 and was lucky enough to join them as a client and board member in 2021. Laurie and her volunteers CARE they don't go through the motions here, they are here for every one that walks through that barn. If I could rate more stars I would!

  I found Victory Hill Therapeutic Horsemanship in the spring of 2020. This organization came at a perfect time for my daughter. With being home from school everyday, getting out on the farm with Laurie really helped her blossom during a difficult time! My daughter has learned so much not just about the animals on the farm but also great life lessons. I highly recommend anyone who has any interest in being on a farm to give Laurie a call and see what program would work for your needs.

  Victory Hill has been an absolute blessing to my family. My husband (NYC Firefighter) deals with a roller coaster of emotions and PTSD from work. I can see a very obvious change in his attitude and demeanor since he started working with Mercury (his favorite horse) and Laurie. He's much more relaxed and aware of how his body language affects the harmony in our household. I have VH to thank for that but also for the changes I am seeing in my son. He has Sensory processing disorder. He wouldn't go near our dog because of an extreme fear of animals, had issues following directions and screamed the moment he became overwhelmed or over stimulated. Slowly but surely Laurie has given him the tools to simply BREATHE through his discomforts and give himself time to process what's being asked of him. He now feeds our dog, takes her on walks and looks forward to his visits to the farm to feed and interact with all of the animals despite their size. I could go on and on about the amazing things happening to us because of Victory Hill, but its best you see it for yourselves. It did not all happen over night, but the improvements were consistent and definitely a result of Victory Hill's programs. I'd recommend this amazing organization to everyone I know.

  Clean facility, following Covid-19 protocols. Volunteers are great. Laurie, the owner, is great. A friendly environment. Services for adults and children with special needs, frontline workers, and military. If you are even considering, I say just do it and check it out for yourself. I’m a volunteer and I love it.
