(August 29, 2023, 12:40 pm)Quite an extensive menu with all of the comfort foods including seafood & Greek options. They also have a very well rounded cocktail menu including seasonal selections. The service was friendly & consistent with pleasant topical conversation. Delicious homemade dishes & desserts. This is an authentic diner which is something difficult to find nowadays. Come on in & enjoy!

(July 9, 2023, 6:10 pm)Vernon Diner was solid. The positives are that the menu is extensive, and they are open 24/7. The negatives are that the food is fine. It gets the job done but is nothing special. For 2 people to get entrees and split a dessert, it was $55. To me that's a bit steep for the quality, but maybe that's just the going rate these days.

(July 6, 2023, 6:11 pm)The food here is excellent and comes in huge portions for the price! You definitely get the bang for your buck going here. The wings, portabello burger, and fish tacos were all great menu items and tasted absolutely delicious. The service was also friendly and there was such a large selection of cakes by the bakery that we had trouble choosing one for dessert. Would definitely come here again!

(June 10, 2023, 8:17 am)My husband and I stopped in Vernon on our way home from Maine. We stumbled upon the Vernon Diner and it did not disappoint. The Challah bread French toast was delicious, as were my eggs and his omelet. I was tempted to get one of the amazing looking desserts to go, but we still had several hours in the car ahead of us.
