Ventnor City Branch - Atlantic County Library System

The Ventnor Branch of Atlantic County Library System earned Best of Press 2022. Staff are friendly and patient -- we offer sit-down technology appointments, story times, crafts, wireless printing, and more. The library is always at a comfortable temperature, thanks to a new heating and cooling unit. The library is part of a shared complex which includes Ventnor's Cultural Arts Center, the Senior Center (Bingo and lunches weekdays), and the Historical Society. The library has been serving Ventnor since 1928. Ask us about our Summer Reading Program!

I go for bingo and it's lots of fun. People are very friendly and the staff is terrific, not to mention the lunches are fabulous!

I love the internet and tools to get a job on their computer. You get 1 hr with a library card which is free. And the library offers all sorts of groups , I think I saw a chess group when I was printing the other day. A computer class, crafting, reading, computer literacy and more.

Our Library is wonderful. Its honestly one of the best libraries I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Its well equipped and has a multitude of variety when it comes to the literature available to quite literally every modern interest. It has a huge section for children to play both inside and out as well as Comics and Japanese Manga for the teens and adults. Two floors of books and subjects to browse in the classic "book" sense. Aside from that, the library staff are always extremely nice and willing to help you no matter the issue. If it is within their power, they will make it happen; whether its printing a document or getting you that special book you've been looking for. Lastly, the Ventnor Library is always well kept, the bathrooms are always sanitary and there doesn't appear to be a spec of dust in the place which means the books are well kept as well as the shelves. The outer grounds are always well maintained with a huge playground for the little ones and a great natural reading area/socializing area for the adults right next to it. With direct access to the boardwalk and beach out to the ocean, I honestly do not think one could ask for a more pleasant experience as far as libraries are concerned.
