(April 28, 2023, 3:24 pm)My husband had been very sick and was in another facility and this place was horrendous. He ended up in the ER in 2 occasions due to retaliatory behavior because I complained about an aid and negligence that could have had catastrophic results. I am a hands on, there every day and very involved in my husband’s health care. I go in the morning and leave after 6:00 pm. and they still treated me and my husband horrible. When we were informed in the hospital that he would have to go to a Rehabilitation Center we both cried. We were terrified. We were told about Venetian Rehabilitation Center I was so scared and believe me I’ve gone to many facilities and the experience was not good at all. At Venetian let me tell you from the 1st call from the social worker, the receptionist that greets me in the lobby in the morning to the one that says Goodnight when I leave. To his nurse Noemi and the ladies from housekeeping. The physical and occupational therapist team. Eric and Nathalie are terrific. And the amazing nurse aid Jimmy. Jimmy is always happy to help and does it with a smile. My husband is treated here with care, dignity and respect. Of course there are hiccups but the good outweighs the not so nice. The place is clean, food is good. The thing I would suggest is to invest in a cart that keeps the food warm but they have microwaves that the aids use to heat up the food. Aside from that we are very happy. At Venetian in 1 week did more for my husband than the other place would not do in 3 weeks.
