  Amazing food in a great setting. The service was also excellent. We went for a birthday and they perfectly coordinated a surprise dessert exactly on time.

  Awesome place for brunch! Great food, Great Service! The chef is awesome! I had the best shrimp and grits ever! Simply delicious!

  We enjoyed the Sunday Brunch, the French Toast and Chicken Sausage was particularly good. The Steak and eggs looked good as well as the Belgium waffle. The Crab cake sandwich was appealing and delicious.The Atmosphere was warm and friendly. The waiter was professional and courteous. Highly recommend the place.

  The charming historic building’s location on the wissahickon creek in wissahickon valley park is extremely idyllic and is about as reclusive as you can get in Philly. This alone makes it worth dining there but the food is as about as good as its location.
  
  It can be extremely hard to park when it’s busy though and it is part of the park so when it’s daytime in nicer weather it can be busy with hikers and bikers but once you get in the building you’re brought back in time and you feel away from the hustle and bustle. Even outdoors if it’s busy it is very relaxing and you can tell why people would stay there in the past.

  One of the best meals I’ve ever had, and Moses, our server, was beyond excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly, kind, quick - everything. I ordered everything he recommended and it was… I mean, it was *absurdly* good. Easily one of the best dining experiences of my life. We were there for the Easter special and I had the goat cheese empinadas, braised lamb, and sweet potato cheesecake. I was totally, totally blown away. What a delightful meal, and so much of that credit goes to Moses for personalizing our experience and evening. We’ll be back and we’ll be excited.
