(August 29, 2023, 9:50 pm)I grew up with my father bringing me to historical places, so I grew into loving history. It was really cool to see the items they used and the winter camps they would stay in. My young daughter had a blast going into all the log cabins. They also have a really awesome gift shop with a little museum on the other side. They had trails you can walk, or bike, and they also have a rode you can drive and hit monuments and learn about our countries history.

(August 6, 2023, 3:33 pm)It definitely exceeded my expectations! The visitor center has a lot of an interesting information regarding the history of the place as well as a small gift shop. There you can also purchase the affordable driving audio tour which is very educational. The park is also peaceful and quiet for a bike ride or long run.

(August 4, 2023, 11:38 pm)This is a great national historic park for a good stroll! The landscape is hilly, but there are no major steep areas that you would have to watch out for. Most of the pathways are paved, so it is a great place to visit for those who are wheelchair bound. Many of the walkways have trees on one side, so it allows for shade for part of the day. I would recommend a hat for visitors because some pathways have no coverage. The big archway is surrounded by cobblestone, so it's not as accessible as the rest of the park. Parking and entrance into the park are free.

(March 18, 2022, 8:46 pm)Views were absolutely breathtaking. The audio tour of the encampment was very interesting and took you through the entire park. Highly recommend!
