(July 29, 2023, 8:13 pm)I was there today, invited by a friend, besides something deep in my sole said to me go, and so I did. Wow well worth it. With all due respect I've heard it before, but at the Valley Community Baptist Church it was different, it was divine, if they don't mind, I would love to return.

(September 24, 2018, 2:14 am)If you’re looking for a church that preaches AND lives out the true gospel of Jesus Christ, look no further. I have had the pleasure of serving and attending many churches on the east coast and after my experience at Valley Community this past weekend, this church and community will always hold a special place in my heart. The executive pastor and teaching pastor are two of the kindest and most humble people that I have met in the state of Connecticut. They preach the Word of God with great respect, honor and glory to God.
The worship is phenomenal. Whether you prefer a contemporary service or perhaps something more traditional, there’s a worship service for you at Valley. The worship director is one of the kindest and most hospitable people that I have met, period. Her kindness and compassion are infectious and within the first hour of meeting her, I was motivated to spread that kindness and compassion to others around me.
Lastly, I appreciate the racial diversity of this congregation. As a minority, it meant a lot to me to be so warmly welcomed by the church and to meet many people that are from all over the world.
I will certainly be back! -

(January 21, 2018, 1:12 pm)This is an amazing church. Pastor Jay is great. He is truly used by the Lord. His delivery of the word is simple yet so powerful. If you want a life transformation, begin that journey here. If you want to grow in Christ, begin or continue your journey with this community of believers. They have an EXCELLENT children's ministry too.
