  Amazing bike store! Fantastic selection of bikes and products. Bryan (owner) is a knowledgeable and skilled mechanic and just a good dude. Came in because my disc rotors were shot, Bryan not only remembered my name from having met a year earlier(!), he had the parts I needed and had me rolling and stopping again within the hour. The good service didn’t end there. Bryan took the time to explain how to properly seat-in the new rotors to ensure longevity and proper braking surface (something I had be told but had totally forgotten) as well as sharing a list of local trails for shredding. In the brief time I was in UBW I witnessed every customer that came through the door treated with the same level of courtesy, patience, and respect.

  I bought a used bike and brought it to Bryan for some repairs. It needed new brakes and parts of the gear system needed to be replaced.
  
  He did a fantastic job! The bike rides like a brand new bike now!
  
  Kingston is lucky to have Utility Bicycle Works as part of the community!

  I took my (old and neglected) road bike to UBW for a tune up. Bryan recommended quite a bit of work, which cost more than I expected. But it was money well spent, because it is like a brand new bike, a joy to ride. I could not be happier and will definitely be back.

  This is, hands down, the best bike shop I've ever been in and I would imagine be the best bike shop for about 99.9% of riders. The context of my visit was that my wife and I are considering moving to Kingston and wanted to learn more about what it's like to bike in the area. Bryan, the owner of the shop, took his time to share his thoughts and his own philosophy behind the store, making sure to answer every question we had to try and give us the most information as we make our own decisions.
  
  In doing so, he explained how the driving focus of the store is inclusivity and getting all people, from all walks of life, feeling comfortable and good on a bike. While I think this store can service anyone who cycles, I would emphatically encourage anyone who is looking to get into cycling to especially check out the store and the community Bryan is building in Kingston.
  
  On top of Bryan's awesome attitude, the store has some of the best designs I've seen! The selection for most bike accessories seems pretty standard (I didn't look too hard as I wasn't in the market to buy a saddle or bag or anything) but the stickers, bags, and water bottles are all fantastically designed by Bryan and his friends.
  
  So whether you're an avid cyclist who just needs some gear or a beginner looking to feel more comfortable, do yourself a favor and check out this amazing shop!

  I had an excellent experience at Utility Bicycle Works!! I came in not really knowing what I wanted but Brian (store owner) helped me think everything through. I got this beauty and I couldn't be happier!! Brian is really patient, super knowledgeable and very kind. Highly recommend using them for all your bike needs.
