  Highly recommended. I studied there as a teenager in the 90s and learned confidence and discipline. The owner Bob Mauro is an amazing teacher and allowed me to learn how to push through anything, which I still utilize today. If you’re looking for a great karate academy this is the place!!!

  This is an excellent place to go if you want REAL martial arts training. Their combination of group and private classes are unmatched and at affordable pricing when you compare to other gyms. The owner is a consummate professional and this place has the accolades to boot! Great for karate/MMA. Would definitely recommend!

  My father signed me up At US Karate Academy in 1990. I am still going there to this day. For the same reason my father was drawn to the school, I am. Bob Mauro is committed to the personalized and individualized instruction of each and every one of his students. Every instructor is knowledgeable and equally as committed to the advancement of their student's martial arts education. Because of this personalized attention, US Karate has become a place to learn self-defense, stay fit, and be part of a close-knit family!

  Have trained several disciplines prior (jujitsu aikido and wrestling), has polished my martial arts education. Started as a gym and became a family, taught me self discipline, respect and so much more. Alot of individual attention, students don't get "lost" there. The instructors there take students progress personally...
