  We love UMAC Shrub Oak. Our daughter has been working with them since she was about 6 years old. Master Berlow has worked with her from her first day. He’s an amazing instructor. Everyone who works there is amazing. The after care and summer camp programs are top notch as well.

  Great positive environment that helps encourage the martial arts values to all students. Students are more confident, respectful, disciplined, focus, have integrity as well as help out as leaders in the community.

  Not only do both my children love going to UMAC for the martial arts skills they learn but also learn to show respect and perseverance! The staff is amazing and offer so many different options for all families. Highly recommend!!!

  UMAC Shrub Oak has always been exceptional when it comes to their program, but during this pandemic they have truly been superior. They have provided a safe and nurturing environment where students can be together although apart. Both my sons have enjoyed being there and as a mom I cannot thank them enough for all the "normal" they have provided for us in this rather abnormal time. Clean, safe, and fun. UMAC is a family and we are happy to be part of that.

  The entire staff at UMAC is exceptional and really cares about its students. I originally brought my son there so he could gain confidence and come out of his shell. Over the past year, I have seen a huge improvement in his communication with others and I couldn't be more pleased! He has been attending the after-school program and he leaves smiling each day. The staff truly cares about its students and I could not recommend them highly enough! We love UMAC!
