  Owner saved our bacon while on the trail! Super helpful with getting us shuttled in and delivery food. Place is perfect for hikers! Gorgeous place.

  What a breath of fresh air. This place has beautiful scenery, clean rooms, very reasonable prices and wonderful management. I have stayed in and recommended this place for a long time and it remains a consistent favorite.

  Great Place for Hikers! Management is hiker-friendly and clean, simple rooms with great hot water at a rate a hiker can afford… highly recommended! Only 2 miles s on NY17, easy hitch from trailhead!

  The facilities are all very clean and kept up well. The building freshly painted, and beautiful landscaping all around the premises. We were warmly welcomed by the proprietor and he even offered and did our laundry! The room was spacious and clean, we had many towels and washcloths in the bathroom. We stayed two nights and were very comfortable. There is a gas station/food mart within walking distance with a full deli, snacks and a variety of beverages. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Tuxedo Motel to anyone!
