If you're looking to do a full DIY wedding like I was Turquoise Barn is perfect for you, the setting is serene and the natural beauty of their land sets the tone for the entire day. Everyone has been telling us that this was the most beautiful wedding they've ever attended. We are so grateful for the Turquoise Barn for opening their space to us.

I photographed an intimate wedding there in October of 2021 and loved it. Sooo many options for photos - mountains in the backdrop, water, apple orchard, and of course the beautiful turquoise barn itself. This was the perfect wedding venue for seasonal views and gorgeous outdoor weather.

We used the Turquoise Barn Carriage House as the accommodations for the bridal party and it was where I got ready for my wedding day. My husband and I had our first look outside by the pond and we took our wedding party and family photos around the property. Everything was amazing and just beautiful. Michelle was great and easy to work with. The house was clean and just perfect for our needs. The grounds are gorgeous and luscious. Everything has so much character, charm, and style!
I wish I had more time to spend there. Highly recommend! -

The setting and landscape at the Turquoise Barn are gorgeous, but add to that the artistry of the owners Michelle and Michael and you have the best "rustic chic" place to spend the weekend or hold a wedding. When I stay here I really enjoy the friendly exchanges with Michelle. She is helpful and sweet without ever being intrusive. I love the nearby bike trails, sitting by the pond and the healthy vibes that imbue the whole experience.

(May 9, 2017, 9:27 am)We attended the Festival of Women Writers in Hobart NY and my friend and I needed a place to stay. Everything was booked and we came across The Turquoise Barn. The pictures on their site were amazing and the location is even better in person. It's beautiful and quiet and so relaxing. Michael and Michelle were incredible hosts and we felt very welcome. The food was amazing and the accommodations spotless. I stayed in The Sunshine Room and enjoyed every minute of it. I would definitely recommend and book again.
