  I was actually taking a little walk when I met two local young men who asked for help while fishing. The were very friendly and respectful.

  Great starting area to use the canal pathway. Lots of parking. Couple of portapotties.

  Nice and long walking trails, boating facility and ample parking space. One can walk, jog or do cycling for hours. It is an unpaved path along the canal. You can also rent a boat or do kayaking thru Princeton Canoe & kayak rental service. Boats are available from 11:00 am to 6:00pm and on weekends 10:00am to 6:00pm. Rates vary from 21~22$/hour to 45~50$/ day. Nice place to spend some time with family and friends.

  I enjoy kayaking from the small dock on the canal. Going north, Carnegie lake is to the left. At Millstone, you can portage to the lake, but plan on getting your feet wet.

  I just discovered this park and am extremely excited about it since it is near to me. There is ample parking, a picnic area towards the back of the parking lot, and nearby a path which leads to the Canal path. The Canal is a great jogging & biking path,or a great place for a nice walk. Across the street there is a canoe & kayak rental that you can rent for the day or by the hour. My family and I will be back. Loved it.
