  We had a lovely private tea tour with Yvette, which was thorough and informative and, of course, delicious! She was an attentive and helpful hostess, the sweets and honeys paired with the teas were perfect, and we were able to take our time with the experience. Thank you Yvette!

  This place is AMAZING not only are the teas great and like nothing I've ever had before but the customer service is Top Tier, this tea house is so rich with black history and black art I just love it and I left with so much knowledge about herbs and health. I just love this place u feel at home as soon as u step in. To the owners thank you for creating this business.

  My experience here was beyond lovely. The tea tour was amazing and a wonderful way to try their wide range of teas. I loved every tea we were served. Every one is a unique, handmade blend, each with a beautiful depth of complimentary flavors. This tea is thoughtfully curated and made with love. It shows in the taste, packaging, and overall environment in the shop. This tea truly changes the game, I was not expecting to leave with as many teas I purchased, but I couldn’t not! Yvette is an absolute queen. She is very knowledgeable on all the benefits of each of her teas. She is so genuinely kind with an infectious spirit that made the experience. She also has a website where she sells her teas (and ships for free!) and I am definitely planning on being a returning customer even though I am not local. If you don’t like tea, try going here, I think Yvette will change your mind. So thankful for this experience!

  I had my birthday celebration here with my friends and had an absolute wonderful time. The owner Yvette took wonderful care of us. She gave us 8 tea cups with little cakes and pastries. Every tea was delicious and the atmosphere was so cool. Her teas were handmade and the quality was excellent. I wish I lived in the area so I could go every week!

  Had the pleasure of visiting an amazing new business Tshikovi Tea House in Phillipsburg NJ.
  Besides the rich taste & aroma of the tea, the pretty packaging & presentation will definitely pull you in. Growing up seeing women of color on packaging wasn’t a thing, fast forward today Founder Owner Yvette thought enough of women of color to make it a reality. I love the thoughtfulness of the whole space, from the colorful vintage like couch, lovely cool calm music serenading you while you shop, one of my favorite features of this establishment were the framed images on the walls celebrating African American Artists. Even the pretty flowers protruding out of the tops of body forms was a unique touch. Besides the owner Yvette being an absolute delight to be around, she’s extremely well versed on every single herb, ingredient & tea blend she creates. Yvette also hosts tea tours for small groups to learn more about her teas, special honeys & how they can benefit ones mental & or physical health. Overall this business is definitely an experience worth experiencing!
