  Had my hair cut by Chris over the weekend, and I love it. I asked if he could help give me a new style after several years of the same thing. He gave me a great shape and movement! Everyone there was nice and I had a great experience. Will definitely return.

  Tru-ly Happy!
  Vibrant color that stays, haircuts that flatter, staff/family that are warm and friendly. Since 2018, I've been traveling 135 miles (round trip) from Northern NJ for my phenomenal monthly hair care. From my hair smoothing service, Cezanne, to monthly color touch ups and highlights and of course excellent hair cutting and styling by Brian, the owner! Lastly, I maintain with excellent NY salon style original TRU Products! ~ I enjoy everything (and everyone!) about my Tru experience. ~

  Brian gave me a great haircut and showed me exactly how to style my hair, how to use the products to do so, and suggested further plans for other styles I want to try. Service was fantastic! Love to support a local family run business.

  I have been a long time client of Tru. I feel more like family than a client. From the front desk to the assistants to the colorists and stylists, Tru Salon is The Real Urban Salon (the quality you only find in Manhattan). Everyone is a master of their art. They constantly evolve and educate, and will keep you current. You always receive a friendly, but professional service. They care how you look. Michelle is a magician and recently did my Balayage, which I LOVE. Always lots of compliments. Gloria’s cuts always amaze me. She no doubt keeps me hip, and Chris is truly a rock star with my blowouts. However, I highly recommend any stylist. I travel 35 minutes to get to this salon and they are worth it.
  I highly recommend.
