  Don't get over here much, but that's all over. We stopped on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The prices are on the high side, but if you go during happy hour or go on Wed. or Thursday when its buck a shuck, you're in for a treat. Everything we had was very good. The oysters were fresh, tender, and delicious, and seriously a dollar a piece. You can't get wings for that. The staff was great, and Phil's mom makes the deserts.
  Excellent. Great atmosphere as well. I'll see you guys next week.

  Good spot to take your kayak out if you leave from ToePath park or above.

  It is a nice car park along the Schuykill where you can access the riverbank to launch kayaks and canoes. There is a pavilion. Two details to note: There are NO bathrooms, and the roads to get there are very narrow. (Just over a vehicle wide, so passing oncoming vehicles is difficult)

  Wonderful place for rock hunting or just looking out at nature. Ducks dogs skipping stones and sweet scenery my husband and I frequent here often. Cleaning up any trash along the way making rocks stacks or snapping pictures even a little fishing. Love it here.
