I had a full hip replacement in October 2019 by Dr Pilkington. I could not be more pleased. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and compassionate, all in one. I got my life back because of his expertise. His office staff is amazing and return calls very promptly. I never have to guess at my new normal due to this replacement. When you are his patient, you remain in his care forever with any concerns that may arise. Highly recommend Dr Pilkington and his staff!
Dr. Pilkington is a good guy, a great doctor, and always tries to be helpful. For just himself, I would give him 5 stars. However, dealing with the office and Bayhealth phone system that he uses is another story. If you need to talk to the nurse, you get to "leave a message" - that they will return in 48 HOURS! That's on a weekday - not on a weekend! That's not an acceptable level of service.
Dr. Pilkington replaced my hip 3 years ago. He did a great job!!! He does the anterior procedure which has been the best way to go for me. I am going to him when I HV my other hip replaced. I can't speak to how his knee surgeries go, but he is GREAT with hips.
