(September 3, 2023, 8:03 am)Our experience overall was very good…perhaps the early afternoon is a good time to balance out crowds vs. service, but everything for us was timed perfectly. We got to the bay 15 minutes early, we’re greeted timely and respectfully, and placed our drinks and food order right then. It was maybe 5-10 minutes for the drinks, and another 10-15 more for food, but at no time did we feel ourselves tapping a foot waiting for service. The golf games were fun, and overall the house clubs were more than adequate to allow some of us to hit the far net! Again…starting at 1330 may have made the serving experience better than the evening and nighttime, but otherwise we had a very positive experience. One slight complaint is on the subject of tipping. I don’t mind 20-25% for good service but we were “encouraged” by our server to tip on the entire total including golf. The problem I have with that is there already is a booking fee added on for reservations made in advance…and well…quite frankly the server had little to do with the golf side of our experience aside from the initial instructions. Our server was quite good…but slightly disappointed when we tipped only on the food…again a minor deduction off the overall positive good time!
