  I just read the review from one week ago, and while I could wax poetic, I'm compelled to copy and paste the review as it perfectly describes our experience too. My wife and I were looking for a special anniversary get-away, and Thyme in the Country fit the bill to a tee.
  
  I would add that Mary's son and his partner - Ted and Athena - are managing the day-to-day affairs and are delightful, talented innkeepers in the truest essence. Not to mention, Athena is a fabulous chef.

After a grueling year teaching in-person and remote, Mary's place --with its authentic, rustic, back-to-the-land atmosphere--was the perfect place to recharge our batteries. You start the day with a delicious, healthy breakfast made with ingredients from Mary's farm and served on the outside patio. During the day, upon returning from an outing, you are greeted with freshly baked cookies or strawberries from the backyard, and delicious homemade aqua fresca. Make sure to bring a bathing suit to take a few laps in the chlorine-free water and then nap in the hammock. Thyme in the. Country is a truly authentic eco-friendly place surrounded by farms and apple orchards while being only 10 minutes aways from the town of Hudson. We highly recommend this hidden gem!"

  Cozy and idyllic organic farm with more than comfortable rooms And truly wonderful hospitality. It was a short ride to downtown Hudson (7 min) but parking was Easy. There's a nice easy hike to a waterfall nearby that is good for kids but the grounds of the farm are also beautiful. Mary was an awesome person and great chef! She left us homemade snacks every afternoon which we enjoyed by the fire. We would definitely visit again, possibly in the summer when we could enjoy the outdoor pool and pond.

  My husband and I spent 2 glorious days with Mary Koch here at this sweet, beautiful and restful retreat. She is a terrific host, the breakfasts are lovely, the atmosphere could not have been more welcoming and the grounds are beautiful. Late night snacks (home made) are provided and my dietary needs were graciously accommodated. Mary helped us plan outings and all her suggestions were spot on. I would return to this little gem in a heartbeat.

  I have stayed at Thyme in the Country several times now and have loved every minute of it! Mary and her family are incredibly friendly, accommodating, and committed to making your stay as comfortable as possible. There are endless things to do around the house and farm--during my stay I helped to feed the new calf, collected eggs, and walked in the beautiful pastures behind their home. When I most recently stayed this winter, I spent a lot of time next to their fireplace relaxing with a book. Mary and her daughter Jennie cooked us breakfast in the mornings and it was fantastic! They served me and my boyfriend homemade yogurt, apple sauce, the fluffiest pancakes, and bacon that came from their own pigs. We will definitely be back in the Spring.
