  I went to this facility for the first time last week. The owner was so genuine, knowledgeable and helpful. I did the float tank and did an ice plunge for the first time. I felt completely supported. I would 100% recommend going here especially if you need to calm your nervous system down or simply need a break from reality for a little bit!!!

  Starting in Summer 2021, I have been spending time at Think Tank Floatation in Middle Island, NY.
  I can honestly state that if Think Tank did not come into my life I would not be as strong mentally and physical as I am today.
  The Tank (sensory deprivation tank) provided me the silence for me to figure out what is most important with no outside influences or distractions (also the salt water has awesome benefits), the cold plunge challenged my body and mind beyond my comfort zone, and the heat provided a space for me to recover after embracing physical conflict in the ice bath while detoxing my body.

  An all around great experience. New to the facility, and Dan guided me through the whole process. I would highly recommend the fire and ice combo with the float after. You can tell that there is love passion and creativity behind this company and I love that. I would recommend this service to anyone trying to get present and push past some discomfort for some really cool relaxing results. Thank you again.

  I've always wanted to try a sensory deprivation tank, but I was nervous about getting neck pain from floating. That nervousness was amplified when reading Think Tank's injury waiver. But when I got to the venue, Dan was so friendly I overcame that nervousness. He had tips for optimizing the experience as well as a convenient head rest that enters the water with you. Not only did I not feel neck pain, but floating helped me unlock insights into my body's health, for example, that I store tension in my upper back and neck. I also had ample time to meditate which eventually led to a comfortable semi-lucid dream state between wakefulness and sleep. And then there's this nice afterglow when you return to reality post-float that lasts well into the following day. Overall, 10/10 experience. Highly recommend you give it a try. Will 100% go back for my second float soon. Thanks Dan!

  Think Tank Flotation is my favorite go to spot after a long week of training. They have the best options for muscle recovery and relaxation. Being able to cycle between the infrared sauna, cold plunge, and float tank is a great experience. The float tank alone is amazing. After a float my muscles always feels better (my skin is so soft), but one of the greatest benefits I receive from floating is the mental clarity. After a session my brain feels like it is rewired and I am invigorated with so many ideas. It's such an awesome feeling and experience -my words arent doing it justice.
  
  Dan is always welcoming and informative. He gave me so much support during the cold plunge from breathing techniques to words of encouragement. He is very warm and inviting and his demeanor really adds to the vibe of the place.
  
  Think Tank Flotation is a must try, especially for athletic recovery and relaxation. You can book a session alone or with a group of friends. It's two different experiences when you go alone compared to with others, so be sure to try both. I enjoy the relaxation of alone time as I recover, but when I went with my friend recently it was so cool to just vibe and be social during and after the treatments. It's such a cool spot!!
