(June 7, 2023, 10:12 pm)After reading some of the reviews, I was very hesitant in keeping my mom here long term. However, this place has been a "God sent" for my mom. The nurses are very attentive and patient. All of the staff are very friendly and upbeat and the entire place is immaculately clean. Most of all my mother is getting the care she needs and she is safe. Thank you God!!

(January 18, 2023, 8:43 am)Nobody wants to be sick especially these days. There is no way to to prepare for a sepsis diagnosis no matter what age. It is a scary infection, potentially fatal. My elderly father ended up having a UTI in response to a doctor neglecting to refill a necessary prescription, made 4 ER trips, had another misdiagnosis ultimately resulting in a two week hospital stay due to sepsis. Because he dropped 40 pounds, needed PT/OT and iv medicine for an additional six weeks after his hospital stay, we needed to transfer to a rehab facility that could handle his needs during recovery. The level of my gratitude for the staff of the Willows at Ramapo is above and beyond anything I could have imagined. I was there everyday and witnessed their approach not only with my father but with every other resident….My father has been really sick and if it weren’t for their efficiency, professionalism, attention and sincere empathy, I’m not sure he would have survived. He was successful at relearning the ADL’s because of the exceptional level of care he received. Sarah C, Yournis, Cassandra, Rose, Mary at the desk and Mary on our floor are real life angels on earth! Also Glen in pt had such a way with my father. He treated my dad with a high level of dignity and that motivated him to push a little harder. Oh, and the food is unbelievably delicious. I am familiar with other nursing homes/rehabs in the area that other family members have spent time in. The Willows surpass all of them and I couldn’t be more relieved, appreciative and impressed. Forever grateful and know should there be a need again, this is where we’ll strive to be. Thank you.
