(June 30, 2023, 11:49 am)Just went to The Wax Room for my first time ever and met the coolest woman ever! Madeleine was extremely knowledgeable and personable as well. She made my brows look AMAZING and I didn’t feel any pain from the waxing. I was even given a little goody bag on the way out!
10/10 would recommend to everyone and their mom. I will be coming back ☺️ -

(May 18, 2023, 8:34 am)I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place I got a Brazilian, under arm wax and half a leg wax I’m one sitting. The owner was accommodating, gentle, respectful, efficient and my entire experience was a delight. I experience no pain at all I was literally handled with care. Prices are great for the the quality you receive. I will recommend the wax room to anyone for any of their waxing needs. I will eventually try other services as needed. I wish I could give 10 stars. (April 17, 2023, 7:11 pm)Recently, I was recommended to Maddy at "The Wax Room" through a local mom's group and I'm so thankful and glad I came across such a great person and establishment. Maddy was very comforting and thorough with her sevices. I had the BEST waxing experience! Usually getting waxed makes me anxious but I was at ease and comfortable with Maddy. The establishment was very clean and peaceful! Her Wax is high quality and she also has amazing scrubs for after care! Highly HIGHLY recommend!

(April 11, 2023, 7:35 pm)I made an appointment for a Saturday at 10am. At 10:10am I got a call from the owner Madeline asking if I was still coming to my appointment. I was out running errands and had totally forgot, I felt horrible but she was so kind and I was close so I was able to get there before her next appointment. She was waiting for me in the salon, greeted me, and took me back to her studio.
Madeline is amazing! She’s so personable and professional. We had a great talk about how she came to have this business and why she loves what she does. We talked about how amazing it feels to get the hair out of your nose and how you could never get hair out of your ears with one those micro trimmers.
She even applied calming balm to my ears which the other place back home in Hartford doesn’t do. She said she didn’t want me walking around with red ears and then saying I just got waxed at her business having people think she didn’t do a complete job!
