  We attended an event here and had a terrific experience. As soon ss you walk in, the view grabs you and makes you feel welcome and pleased. Service is friendly and professional. And the food is very good. A place worth trying - and returning. This was one of Bob Lucas' favorite restaurants.

  My husband and I hosted a family luncheon for 20 people to celebrate our daughter's baptism. Everything, from the food to service, was fabulous! Planning the event with Fred was a breeze and he went over and above with personal touches to make it a truly special day. Chef Jeanine's food was wonderful -- everyone complimented the dishes that were served, particularly the salmon and lamb -- not easy dishes to serve to a crowd! Our server, Cher, was attentive and so easy going. Would highly recommend The View to anyone planning a small or large event!

  We had a lovely party here for my daughter’s birthday! Jeanine, the chef was amazing, and made us all feel so welcome! She came out and greeted the guests, and made everything very personal… the meal was fabulous, and everybody was raving about the food! We will be back for many parties!! And a shout out to our terrific waitress Cher! Thank you all so much for making our day so special!! 😊

  Janine the chef/owner could not have been more accommodating in planning our event and executing it as well. It was a birthday party with around 15 people. We were given a private room. We chose a set menu. I never thought the food, each course would be so delicious. We started with appetizers, then chicken soup, a chose of salad, chose of 4 entries, and dessert was their specialty New Orleans beignets. Our server was Kim. She was unbelievable. She kept my water glass full, something at most places I have to ask for more water throughout my meal. She took the orders, served them with assistance (great as well ). Every meal received was what was requested and enjoyed by each guest. I would give more stars if I was available to do. Highly recommend you go here, you will not be disappointed.

  5 STARS IS NOT ENOUGH! This place is a gem. We had our sons 21st birthday cocktail party here and they were soooo very accommodating. I mean, it went from being a cocktail party to a full blown event. Fred helped us plan everything and it was a smooth process all the way through. The raves we received at the party. From Jeanine the Chef who cooks up an amazing meal, to her staff that is just beyond polite and go the extra mile for your want and need. This is a hidden gem on the coast of Glen Cove Shore Line at the Glen Cove Golf Course. They have a few options to choose from when planning the party. We enjoy coming here for brunch/lunch/dinners as well. Cozy spot with delicious food. Thank you to Jeanine and your staff. Looking forward to coming back and having brunch. By the way her Gyros at lunch time are the best. If you haven't been, you must!
