(April 11, 2023, 9:24 am)Bought 2 stoves here. A Jotul Oslo 500 in 2005 and recently a Quadrafire pellet stove. Always have parts for stove. Quadrafire did not work upon installation and Preston Trading sent a tech out twice to get the stove working properly.

Dave and Jan made sure that the entire process went smoothly from the purchase to the installation and they were extremely accommodating and friendly. -

(July 23, 2022, 7:53 pm)Excellent sales and service! I now have both a pellet and wood stove in my house and have cut my oil gallons in half. The sales people know their stuff which is great but what really makes Trading Post standout is the service. John the service manager helped talk me through a complete rebuild of my vintage Vermont Castings Encore wood stove and I wasn’t a customer at the time. Let me tell you that’s really going the extra mile because Vermont Castings engineers wouldn’t settle for one part to do a job when they could spec out ten for the same purpose. I subsequently purchased a Harman Allure 50 and it’s been flawless.

(April 30, 2021, 7:57 am)Update: Jan and Dave are still killing it! We finally added an insert to our other fireplace, and they helped us find the right model at a great price. Installation was quick, some minor factory-driven issues were resolved right away and we are happy customers. Totally recommend this business. He even sold me a great product for cleaning the old smoke stains off of the front of the fireplace before the install.
Dave and his team are great. I bought a house with an existing VT Castings stove, and Dave knew just what I needed to get it running right - from the intake to the exhaust. I didn't spend a ton of money with them, but he treated me like family and I will definitely go back when it's time for more parts or more stoves (2 other fireplaces may someday get inserts or stoves). Highly recommended. If someone had slow service after the sale, it must have been on a busy Saturday - no problem reaching them by phone or getting service in the store.
