  We're from the other end of the state and consider The Surfside Hotel a hidden gem. The decor is beachy simplistic, with comfortable beds and quality linens. Available are free beach chairs, kayaks, paddleboards, and umbrellas for guest use. The Little Pub restaurant is attached and offers fun food and beverages. There are bicycles available to ride along the waterfront. I had the pleasure of getting checked in by the manager who was friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Will definitely return. Thank you, Surfside.

  The room was great, the staff very friendly. The 'Little Pub' was definitely a highlight. The other highlight they don't mention on their website is the 'Mellow Monkey' a great shop by the airport. The beach is very small and quiet. If you are lucky enough to be there during high tide, the water is great. Unfortunately, during low tide, you should be warned to bring water shoes, the rocks are terrible and slippery.

  Here is a fabulous little gem!!! This place was awesome. Great updated room. Very clean. Wonderful bed. Nice restaurant. Little extra touches that we didn't get anywhere else on our road trip. Oh....and the beach is right there! We had and ADA room which wasn't beach front, but you just walk a few yards and there it is! Very nice. Highly recommended.

  This is a perfect little hotel for a quick getaway w friends or family. The rooms are beach chic and the beds and pillow are 5 star. Cute coffee bar open 24 hours. The beach is rocky but it’s directly on beach so it very chill and relaxing. Little pub is good as well. It has a montauk vibe and closer to NYC. Will be back for years to come!

  Absolutely lovely boutique hotel right on the water! Room was clean and beds very comfortable. We loved all the little touches including the water carafe and water dispensers all around the hotel and the cute retro refrigerator. Balcony was wonderful for early morning coffee and for sitting out after checking in.
