  Went here as a last minute decision for Independence Day. Was a bit skeptical as to if my partner and I would like this place because when it first opened we heard not so good things about the service. But boy were we glad we went. The food is absolutely delicious. My boyfriend ordered the Mollejas with Scallions and I ordered the Sizzle Burger. We also split a Passion Fruit Daiquiri, which was strong just the way we like it. Honestly couldn’t believe a place like this exists in a place like Sussex County. The place looks really hip and trendy inside too. My boyfriend said we should definitely come back and so we shall. 10/10 would highly recommend.

  We took my dad here for Father’s Day- making a reservation was easy the staff is polite & inviting. The decor here is just adorable, The drinks were delicious Overall the entrees were good & flavorful, Salchica Parrillera was amazing, great flavor and the bread was perfect.
  the mango shrimp salsa and the nachos were both disappointing. I ordered Mollejas which I expected to be crispy like the photo on the menu, but they weren’t- I’ve never had that meal before so I’m not sure how it’s intended- but it was bit too soft and fatty for me- i imagine it’d be amazing if they were crispy :)

  What a great place!!!! Beautiful decor and love the music! I am from NYC and this is the closest to home that I’ve felt!! Food is absolutely amazing! I took my mom for lunch! The empanadas are the best I have ever had, they have so many choices. We also got the steak bowl .. so tender and juicy. I really hope they do brunch on the weekends when summer starts!

  It's possible they are short staffed. 3 of us went for breakfast and our experience took 2 hours. I'm not sure if our server was new, or he was doing something he normally doesn't do? Everything took a long time, from getting hot tea and coffee, to having our order taken, to getting our check. Also, our server never stopped by to check on us during the meal. Again, not sure if he was new, or inexperienced?
  
  Having said that, the food was excellent! Fresh and absolutely out of this world! It did take awhile for us to get our order, about 30-40 minutes (no special requests, everything we ordered was right from the menu). And there was so much! Eggs, potatoes, sausage, all perfectly seasoned. The fall pancakes were yummy.
  
  The interior is very cute, lots of unique antique items, inviting and cozy. I'd give this place some time to work out the hiccups, and I'd try it again.

  Definitely worth checking out. Staff is all super friendly and food was good. The restaurant is beautiful inside. My wife had the half BBQ chicken with rice and I had the Cuban sandwich. All the food was cooked fine no complaints but everything was on the dry side even the rice. I think this and any of the very minor complaints I could raise are just part of the growing pains of just opening this location and I look forward to coming back here when it's a well oiled machine. My cuban sandwich was definitely one of the better ones I've had but first one I've had with a sweet note to it presumably from the pickles. Not my choice of direction personally I enjoy a nice bite from vinegar but was still good and just a personal preference.

16 reviews of The Sizzle BBQ "The joint was hoppin'. Atmosphere, service, food, drinks, all were really good. Enormous serving of delicious pork ribs. Generous sides of rice and beans. I had the Sandra's salad which was loaded with delicious roast chicken, avocado, bacon, tomato, shredded carrots, hard boiled egg all on a large bed of very fresh spinach.
