The Pointed Word

When my first box from the Pointed Word landed on my doorstep, I felt like it was my birthday! Opening my lovingly wrapped books was so luxurious and exciting. The books that were sent with my shipment have plunged me into gorgeous and sometimes mysterious new worlds and have opened me up to new authors I had not yet discovered. It was truly a gift to be immersed in such achingly beautiful prose with characters that were clever, strong, and inspiring. I loved the special little items that came in my box as well, a glossy and sturdy bookmark, a meaningful pin, and a lush, red Pointed Word tote for all my new treasures. Grateful for the time, research and care that went into this special package. I can’t wait to order more items from The Pointed Word. Thank you!

I received my first Pointed Word box of goodies last month, what a joy it was! I was so excited to see what titles The Pointed Word picked for me. When the package came the box, included two beautifully wrapped books, a supper fun Pointed word cloth bag and a pin that made me smile. It felt like such a decadence to open a package just for me, full of hours of entertainment. I also appreciated that The Pointed Word catered to my request for large print books, my eyes are so happy to read the larger print before bed. I have just dived into the first book and I am thoroughly enjoying it! I am loving learning about new and indie authors through the Pointed Word's monthly book recommendations and I am very much looking forward to gifting some VIP book boxes for the holiday season!

My friend gifted me a subscription to The Pointed Word last month, and it was fabulous! Such a great idea! From the packaging, to the bonus gift, to the books themselves, it was absolutely lovely. It all felt so cozy and luxurious.... And the curated books are fantastic! Last month I received some delightful mysteries and am having so much fun reading them. Perfect fall reading. Bonus points for books I was not already familiar with. I honestly appreciated so much that the books were so charming and well written, but were from fresh authors.

I love the idea of this as a thoughtful, pampering gift for the book lovers among us. Now if they could only include a roaring fire to read by next time...
