    Hardcore gym with a friendly and supportive atmosphere. If you need it to get stronger, The Pitt has it.
    They run some amazing strongman competitions as well. They just seem to be great at everything they do.

    I've been competing and training at The Pit for about 6 months and have always been very impressed with the helpfulness of the staff and respectfulness of the members. It's hard to find a place that caters to powerlifting AND strongman, but Gina and her crew are always adding new equipment and making the gym a one-stop-shop for lifters of all kinds. If grunting like a maniac and punishing your body aren't your thing, there is plenty of equipment and expertise that surpasses what you would find in a chain commercial gym. They host a lot of clinics and competitions throughout the year, so if you're looking for a strength gym to call home, this is it.

    I'm not even trying to be dramatic, but this is really the best gym around. you want powerlifting? check. Strongman? Check. Bodybuilding? Check. The staff is so nice they really take the time to actually get to know their members as well as Gina. The members are what makes it over the top! Everyone is so helpful, fun and downright hysterical. If you're looking for a gym just come here. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
