Was trying to find something fun & different to do with the family this weekend & remembered driving by here the last time I was in Pine Bush. So glad we decided to check it out. The gentleman who greeted us was wonderful, so very friendly & welcoming, & he even met us at the end of our exploration to offer to take some family pictures for us in their photo opp room(which was a lot of fun). It was definitely a unique & enjoyable way to spend an afternoon with the family. Always difficult to find something to entertain teenagers enough to distract them from their phones for over an hour, but they thoroughly enjoyed the visit. And the young man that helped us in the gift shop afterwards was equally friendly & helpful. Just a great experience all around. (& Extra points for offering a military & student discount)
One of the best street fairs ever. Vendors are excellent. Bands are great. Speakers are interesting and the characters on the street are memorable. Worth a road trip.
Unfortunately I have not had the pleasure of seeing the museum in its permanent location, only the pop-up that was held during the annual UFO festival. It was a wonderful time then, and I've heard on good authority that it is just as good now! Be sure to check out this small town that has fully embraced its place in UFO history.
This place was absolutely incredible. At first you may think that this place is just a quirky exhibit about aliens and the paranormal, but it's full of so much charm and knowledge.
We got to meet the owner, who greeted us with a warm smile and gave us a rundown of the museum. Photos aren't allowed inside due to the nature of how it's designed, and honestly I'm glad it's set up that way. You really have no idea what to expect. Without giving away too many spoilers, you get to experience the testimony of people who have had extraterrestrial and paranormal encounters here in the Hudson Valley. I hadn't even known that the town of Pine Bush was known for that, and that was pretty awe inspiring.
I've always been into aliens so that section of the museum I absolutely loved. I wasn't too interested in the paranormal section at first but the accounts were bone chilling. I legitimately got scared from hearing some of the stories and the way the museum presents everything adds to that. Overall my lady and I were in love with the entire experience and are definitely going to come back again, as the owner told us that he was in the process of adding to the museum. If you have the slightest bit of interest in the paranormal and extraterrestrials, you seriously need to check this place out
The place doesn’t look much on the outside but it is a great place to spend an afternoon. I would recommend the tour though as a lot of the exhibits wouldn’t make much sense without it and the tour guide was great. Most of the museum is about UFOs but fits in well with the local area. The added paranormal room out the back with haunted artifacts was really cool. Really no where else like this and a great experience, well worth the money. We spent a couple of hours here so it wasn’t expensive for what we got and learned a lot about the local area I had no idea about.
I have been to a of local attractions in the country and most are nothing exciting but this was really great. There are not many of these types of museums in the country or areas with such a high volume of sightings So it should be highlighted as one of the top things to do outside of the city for sure.
