Having studied myself for many years, I was skeptical of group lessons at first, but I have found this to be an incredible way for my daughter to learn and remove inhibition around playing for others. Her confidence and abilities have truly grown! Cannot speak highly enough of The Peterson Studio and the quality music education my daughter has received in a warm and caring environment!!

I have really enjoyed my first 6 months of learning piano with Joel, he’s thoughtfully combined required learning material with supplemental content of interest to me.

(June 17, 2022, 1:56 pm)This is a great place to learn piano! Our 4 year old has taken lessons with both Joel and Bianca, and really enjoys both teachers. They are patient, encouraging and kind.
I was hesitant at first because 4 is very young for sitting and learning, but they also use a lot of games to teach piano skills.
Games vary widely- from keystrokes at the piano, to using flyswatters to listen and slap cards, to matching card games on the floor or bean bags, my daughter loves to play and learn. I *highly* recommend The Peterson Studio to any child curious about music. They currently offer a first class for free, which is a great chance to meet the teachers and decide if your child is ready or not. -

(June 17, 2022, 1:41 pm)The Peterson Studio is wonderful! The teachers are talented, professional and the children love coming to learn piano. The summer camp is also so much fun! It’s so nice to have an outlet for the musical arts in Highland!!
