We were told it would be a 1.5 hour wait, but when 2 seats opened up at the bar we took them and it was the best decision we could have made. Our bartenders were Becky and Zach, two of the nicest people I've ever met. They made our first time at The Old Causeway a 5 star experience! All of the other patrons around us were so friendly and fun...all of our food and drinks were delicious... Highly recommend the fire roasted oysters and crab toast appetizers as well at the Karate Chop pork chop and crab cake entrees... awesome night!

(June 11, 2023, 9:54 pm)Have to say the pork chop was one of the best I've ever had. The onion soup was a favorite as well. Appetizer special was a crab dip. Had a kick to it but tasty. Could have used a few more chips. Also ordered was the Seafood Pot. Definitely had enough seafood in there. Would not hesitate to order either dish again.

(April 10, 2023, 12:40 pm)Very good service, food was delicious and well prepared. I got the pulled pork and it was a tiny bit dry, but our server brought out extra sauce. Looks are deceiving, from the outside it doesn't look that big. Once you go inside, it's really quite large. Lots of high top tables in the bar area, and plenty of tables and booths for dining. An extensive menu with lots of choices. Parking is a bit tricky, while there were enough spots, we went mid day on a Friday, and the place was packed. We got the last spot on the lot. Staff was very accommodating, we had my grandson with us and they said they usually don't allow strollers. But since the lunch rush was almost over, we were able to take his stroller in.

(April 5, 2023, 9:48 pm)Tonight, my husband and I had the pleasure of dining at The Old Causeway. From start to finish, our experience was fantastic. Our server, Amanda, was attentive and friendly throughout the meal.
To start, my husband ordered the pretzel appetizer while I opted for the lobster poutine fries. Both were delicious, but the fries were particularly phenomenal. For our entrees, my husband ordered the filet with a baked potato and I had the shrimp and grits. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing.
To top it off, I enjoyed an espresso martini which was perfect.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience at The Old Causeway thanks to the great food and service provided by Amanda. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.
