    After attending a show at Tanglewoods, we were very hungry and we enjoyed dinner at the Mill on the River in South Windsor Ct. We ordered off their Sunday special menu and had three very satisfying meals. The signature cocktails list had a wide selection and the one that we ordered was exceptional (pink slipper ???). We started with the shrimp cocktail that was served on a bed of ice with all the dipping condiments. We all had a salad with two BLT Wedges and one Caesar salad and they were excellent. Two of us had the prime rib (one center cut and one end cut) and these were fine. I had the end cut and I was hoping for more herb seasoning that would have made it more flavorful. The chicken teriyaki was very good as were the rice, steamed vegetables and baked potatoes that came with the entrees. The dessert, apple strudel was also excellent as well. Overall good dining experience.

    I have been here couple times. everything amazing. Great views and atmosphere all year round. Amazing service always fast and on point. Food always cooked correctly, perfect place for a date night or any special occasion. Definitely recommend and worth visiting

    Wonderful food, new outdoor dining patio area near the water and an excellent waiter, Eric.

    We dined with friends, two of us had the lobster special, one had a large steak and the other the salmon. Appetizers of crab and escargot were nicely prepared.

    A great experience and we even received a tour of the facility after dining and the staff gave us history on the working mill. We will be happy to dine here again!

    Beautiful and romantic place with delicious food! Outdoor and indoor seating available. Perfect place for date with loved ones. I've been here a couple of times and always was enjoying the food and atmosphere. My meal was cooked perfectly and fish was so fresh and delicious. Tuna was soo good! Also, red fish with sea food are my favorite. Soups of the day, my favorite.
