(December 20, 2019, 7:02 pm)I’ve been lucky enough to work with Dr. Torrisi through the sexuality classes she leads for adolescents, and I can’t imagine a person more well-suited to the work of sex therapy and education. Dr. Torrisi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice, but more importantly, she is a kind, empathetic presence for people working through challenging situations. Dr. Torrisi provides a safe, welcoming, inclusive space for people from a wide variety of ages and experiences. I highly recommend her practice.

I am a transgender, polyamorous, kinky, queer woman, who's life is filled with numerous complexities to work through. She has helped me grow *so* much as a person through the therapy I've undertaken with her.
I had seen therapists before, both as a child and then again as an adult. None of them had close to the amount of empathy, insight, or ability to gently but effectively guide me as Rosara has shown.
For what it is worth, I am one of her sliding scale clients. I cannot speak to how she normally handles rates and insurance and so-on, but I can say that as an economically struggling minority of limited means, her willingness to work with me foregoing significant financial transactions has been *incredibly* appreciated -

(June 7, 2017, 9:20 pm)Rosara has been my co-advisor teaching OWL (Our Whole Lives, a sexuality workshop for 9th graders at UUCSR in Manhasset) for the last two years, and she brings a wealth of knowledge and an ability to connect with youth that has been a great asset to the class. Her enthusiasm for the program and giving youth the right information concerning their sexual self has made OWL a better experience for all of us.
