An underwhelmingly expensive dinner. The place is beautiful. The outside is a rustic, historic, colonial building with valet parking. The inside is decorated with a mix of modern farm house meets sexy NYC modern cocktail lounge. Very dimly lit and spacious. Their downstairs had a really off-putting, putrid smell which we luckily were seated far away from. Our 7:45 pm reservation wasn’t seated until 8:10 pm.

I’ve seen many reviews on here complaining about the slow service and I can attest to that. We waited about 5 minutes after being seated before our drinks were ordered. Then another 10 minutes before our courses were ordered. The appetizers came 15 minutes later. We ordered the burrata appetizer and the fluke tartare. They mistakenly gave us the tuna tartare, which they comped, and brought the fluke shortly after. The appetizers were great. The burrata was light, soft and paired well with the jam. Both of the fish dishes were also sublime. Now, after our first course was cleared, we waited close to 30 minutes before our main courses were served. I had the risotto which was rich, creamy and delicious, with a side of grilled chicken. The lamb was ok, but definitely not worth $68 - oh yeah, and by the way, the prices on their website isn’t up to date. The beef tenderloin was also just ok.

After we finished, we waited 15-20 minutes before we could find someone’s attention to get our bill. Mind you, there were plenty of staff around but they prioritized turning down the rest of the empty tables to close the restaurant instead of checking in with is.

All in all, quite a disappointing experience considering the restaurant is affiliated with Jean George.

What a gorgeous and delicious spot!! Had an amazing time here. The food and service were really great. Ambiance is so cozy and classy. Noticed diverse guests, which is always a great sign.
There's a valet parking right outside.

Actually passed it, and had to turn around, because I mistook it for a house. Valet parking. Modern and quaint. Entire staff lovely. Sat right in front of the fireplace. Great dishes. We tried the French toast, the chicken entree, calamari, salmon appetizer, and caramel ice cream with homemade whipped cream, chocolate drizzled popcorn, and nuts. Also cocktails & coffee. Everything was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back for dinner.

We passed by this place many times and finally got to try the food. We also had dinner at Jean Georges in NYC before and this one at this location did not disappoint. They have valet parking which is very convenient. The firewood smell was very pleasant when we arrived here. We enjoyed the food and drink very much, especially the salmon sushi, roasted beets and butternut squash soup. My husband is extremely good at cooking steaks and many places we went to don’t do as good job as him. The beef tenderloin was very good here. The service was great and quick. The place is spacious. The price is reasonable for the quality of food and service. Highly recommend!
