  John is the most intelligible toy store owner (and collector) I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and conversing with. Every time I find myself at Imperial Castle is time spent well, as I always find myself leaving with something and having learned at least one new thing about whatever it is that comes up in conversation. This man knows his trade well, and it shows with the knowledge he shares with every customer.
  
  If you’re ever in or around Pawling, do yourself a favor and check out his shop. Great prices, knowledgeable staff, and a fun atmosphere to get lost in for a few minutes (or hours in my case.)

  I came to Imperial Toy Castle today with my little sister and we had and AMAZING time looking at all of the toys around the shop. We bought the newest Mini Fashion Mini Brands, and they were probably the best purchase I have ever made! Customer Service is OUTSTANDING!!! And the staff are insanely kind to people looking around the shop and all of the toys are up to date and in perfect condition all the time. Overall this is an amazing place to shop for Christmas, Hanukkah, Birthdays and any other holidays. (They also have collectibles!!)

  This is such a special shop - seriously, one of the coolest stores I’ve ever been to. It’s packed to the brim with nostalgia and charm, filled with all the toys of your childhood from the ‘50s and beyond. Loved all the walkie-talkies, Super Nintendo games, ‘80s original G1 Transformers, Polly Pockets, Ginny Dolls, Smurf figurines, Rageddy Ann dolls, Strawberry Shortcakes, Furbys and more.
  
  John, the owner, is incredibly smart, helpful, and funny. Name an esoteric toy, and he knows it and has got it! We’ll make the drive to Pawling just to come back. Cannot wait and am already recommending this shop to everyone.

  This place is great felt like a little kid agin. the owner John is great and very knowledgeable on the toys that he sells. he has a variety of toys from old from when I was a kid to new ones from now. i have to say i will be coming here agin also if your a collector this is a good place to buy some good stuff and once agin thank you
