  An outstanding traditional no-BS shop with the best selection of flash I’ve seen in a long time, and a group of very talented in-house Tattooers to make non-flash ideas come to life. Super clean surfaces and procedures made for a healthy shop environment.
  
  If you are local to NYC/Philly you owe this place a paying visit, and if you love tattoo and are passing through the area, this is worth a “detour” from the city.

  Hands down the best shop I’ve ever been to. The shop is very clean and meticulously maintained. Sam, Pete and Chris are great guys with a lot of talent. I’ve been getting work done there for the last year and I’ve never seen anything but the best work from all the guys. Sam did some awesome cover up work for me, the tats are amazing and always heal quick. I will continue to go to Historic Custom Tattoo for all my work.

  Fantastic shop, friendly + hilarious staff. Blown away by the professionalism when asking questions and helping find the perfect tattoo. Custom in house flash hanging on the walls gives the shop a unique identity. A real gem hidden in Watchung, NJ.

  This tattoo shop has been given a breath of fresh air!! This shop has recently changed hands to three, well established, talented artists. I've personally been tattooed by Pete, Chris and Sam at their other shops and it's a wonderful to have all three of them back under the same roof!! Clean shop, professional artists and amazing tattoos!!! I can't recommend this shop enough!!!
