  The owner of this place couldn’t be kinder, more professional, or more talented. We move around a lot for my husband’s job, so we’ve visited barbershops all over, and my husband always says there are only two barbers in the country he would trust to cut his hair right, and Ed is #1. Always support businesses run by genuinely good people! Ed’s place is a vibe.

  Ed is most definitely the best barber ive ever been to. Been going there for over 2 years now and always walked outta there a happy customer!! Highly recommend!! Probably seen this guy buy like 7-10 different cars since I been going to. Ed you a real one!!

  I have been a customer of Ed’s for years. I followed where he went. Always a great cut, every single time. Comfortable atmosphere in the shop. A great neighborhood feel with great conversation. I’ve seen Ed give a lot of haircuts over the years and I’ve never seen a bad one. I highly recommend Ed!

  Hands down the best barber shop not only in Meriden, but in surrounding towns as well! I know because I’ve tried most. It was hard to find a place that could consistently cut (with scissors) and fade my boys hair perfectly every time. After trying about 10 different shops, I walked into the gentleman’s barber shop hoping for better and I was not let down! That was about 2 years ago and we still go there. Ed is great with my boys and their hair always comes out amazing.

  A modern classic. Ed's dedication to his craft is second to none. I am a regular who goes bi-weekly and enjoy limitless conversation and a maverick approach to men's grooming. And just to make it known I've had a bald head for about 20 years now. Ed styles my beard and straight razors my dome. A task I would not trust to anyone else. This is the spot that reminds of you of the please your dad took you when you young. It's here now for us to share with our Sons and brothers...
