  I eat at local steak houses Roots and Ruth Chris relatively frequently at least once per month, I wanted to switch up my experience so I searched best steakhouse in New Jersey and this came up. I had no clue how much of a treat I was in for, my father and I sat down for a 3 hour dinner that easily was one of the top meals I have ever had in my life. The sushi here is amazing, there is something about their meat products here, they season them in a unique way that will keep me coming back for more. Deserts are plentiful, more on the adventurous side but still amazing, coffee is also great. The mashed potato rings are a must have! Our waitress Cathy was outstanding in every way, very attentive, and overall a nice person. I will for sure be adding the Feathered Fox to my restaurant rotation.

  A sleeper in Livingston. We went on a Friday night, I was expecting a big crowd, but only filled up about halfway. Folks are missing out. This place is definitely worth trying.
  
  I had no expectations for good sushi. What we got was the best quality sushi I have had this side of Ft. Lee. Next up, porterhouse for two. Having read reviews, I ordered medium, which came out perfect (medium rare plus.) The only demerit was the steak served on a wooden plate, No hot ceramic plate with melted fat and butter. The wood plate soaked up all of it.
  
  Our waitress was great and the place had a very nice ambiance. I will be back to this well-kept secret .

  Beautiful atmosphere with garden views as you enjoy delicious hot steaks, sushi and comfort food. I particularly loved the the lobster and truffle pasta and the mashed potato rings were great! My wife adored the filet mignon. The music Playlist is great too!

  A must try in Livingston! Tucked inside the Westminster hotel, this beautifully renovated restaurant elevates a traditional steakhouse feel with something more airy and sophisticated. Cocktails are balanced and creative, sushi is fresh, and food is delicious. You have to check it out.

  A few weeks late on this review, but what a wonderful experience. I planned a surprise birthday dinner and everything was executed to the nines. I teamed up with the GM, Walter, who helped me tailor the menu. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our waiter, Jesse, was very friendly and attentive. The Lover sushi roll is a must- truly one of the greatest rolls I’ve ever had. The steak was cooked perfectly and you can’t go wrong with any of the sides, but the duck confit mac and cheese and the mashed potato rings were my favorites. From start to finish, planning and dining, we had a wonderful time. Atmosphere, service and plating, all phenomenal. The perfect spot to have a special night out!
