  I can honestly say I enjoy going to work everyday. It's like a breath of fresh air! The staff are phenomenal and truly care about the residents and families they serve. It feels like home! I love actually being able to have the time to spend just talking and listening to the people I care for and meeting their needs. It's what I went into nursing for. Healthcare has become some commercialized, but here I feel like I truly can put my heart into my work and really take care of the whole person, the way nursing should be.

  Our mother moved to the Cottage five months ago. It is a small, warm and inclusive community of staff and residents where interpersonal relationships are nurtured and respected. Very clean, spacious and very well maintained building and grounds. Good nutritious food. Activities for all, Mom likes best the singer they bring in, any party or picnic and any group outing to anywhere.
  
  The staff are exceptional, very caring and have gone the extra mile to help Mom feel comfortable. We have also taken much care to make her room fresh, cheerful and bright. She has big windows and a pretty chair to sit in. The staff have been very responsive to our every concern large or small and have been able to care for Mom on a very personal level. They have amazing dedication and wisdom to communicate with her and the other residents. The staff take the time to learn and understand the residents, their lives, history and interests. Mom feels respected, seen and heard. She says she is happy here. We are so grateful! Thank you!!! Stephanie and Jenny

  I have worked at the Cottage for almost 5 years and it honestly is one of the best places to work. Our team works together to be the best we can be for all of our residents. I plan on furthering my education with the help and support of The Cottage. There really is no better place to work/live. I highly recommend!

  The care that Litchfield has afforded my mother in memory care has been outstanding. The service and administration has been sterling. It's very difficult doing what they do and they make it look easy. I would have no problem recommending this facility to anyone who needs assisted living.

  I have worked at the cottage at litchfield since November and I am so happy to be back. The staff are amazing and the teamwork is great. The longevity is astounding as most of the staff have been here for over 5 years. All the residents are very engaged and are very happy. I'm so glad I made the choice to come back to my home away from home.
