  We moved our dad into the Chelsea at Greenburgh at the end of December 2021. I wanted to wait a whole year before writing this review. Let me first address the one review stating that the Chelsea has a predatory process. While I completely understand the frustrations of the paperwork and the entire process you have to go through, It’s not predatory. Every facility requires this. I know because my brother and I visited 5 facilities, and this is the process. I do wish it had been simpler, but it never made me feel like it was predatory. The staff at the Chelsea are all wonderful. I am there all the time, as I am a freelance makeup artist running my own business, and make my own schedule. The Chelsea is ten minutes from me so it’s easy for me to stop by often, and my dad likes my presence. I also did not want a facility that was too far from me or my brother who lives in NYC. He can easily take the train from GCT to the very close by Hartsdale train station. In our search for an assisted living facility it was important that not only did it have good care, but that it be aesthetically pleasing, and that the staff be friendly, caring and attentive. I have gotten to become so friendly with the staff. The staff is always around, helpful and kind. I am so especially fond of Franchesca, who did our tours, as I went alone initially, and came back with my brother. She is literally one of my most favorite humans on the face of the earth. The most kind, caring and genuine souls out there! The Chelsea’s decor is beautiful! So modern and visually alluring. There were some growing pains in the beginning with the move and transition, but it’s going to happen no matter where your loved one ends up. Management has always made the time to discuss any issues or concerns and offer resolutions. I know we made the right choice with the Chelsea. There are also tons of great restaurants, shopping and activities in the area to do with your loved one when you visit. Our dad likes the food here and the daily menus always looks appealing. They are also trying new offsite activities for the residents and are open to feedback. You can bring your beloved pet as long as you can safely manage him/her. My dad has his 9 year old labradoodle here, and she is the star of the Chelsea! Everyone loves her. Last year was a big process of change with our fathers new life and his early stage dementia. This isn’t easy at all. If you drink alcohol, you will probably drink a lot more. As stressful as it is managing your loved ones life and finances, I can go to sleep knowing our dad is safe and not burning the house down because he forgot to turn the stove off. Go visit the Chelsea!!

  My mother has been in the memory care unit of Chelsea for about 9 months. The facility is beautiful, clean and well-maintained. The staff are knowledgeable, kind and patient. My mother came from another assisted living in Florida and the Chelsea is far superior. From the start with Francesca to help with the admission to the administrators and aides, the staff are all wonderful. The Director of The Country Cottage (memory care), Monique is very understanding and helped make my mothers transition easier as well as being very communicative. It’s difficult to place a loved one with dementia in a facility but my family has been very happy with The Chelsea at Greenburgh.

  Everything about The Chelsea at Greenburgh has been a wonderful experience thus far. They have provided Paul with all of his necessary services without interruption. The entire staff has made him feel welcome from the moment he arrived. The onboarding process with Francesca was seamless. She made the process very easy for us. The environment at the Chelsea at Greenburgh is always inviting, warm and friendly. The food services are excellent as well! The set up of the facility allows Paul to socialize and being there has improved his quality of life. I would highly recommend the Chelsea at Greenburgh for anyone looking for a facility for a loved one.

  The Chelsea at Greenburgh has been a godsend for our family. This absolutely beautiful venue is such a welcoming haven for our mother and for our family each time we visit. We always wanted our loving mother to transition to a place that is welcoming, caring and safe. We found this at The Chelsea at Greenburgh assisted living facility. I would like to thank Suzanne Stephans for making our mother’s move into the community a great experience. After our fabulous tour with Suzanne with all our questions and concerns addressed, we knew that The Chelsea at Greenburgh was the only place for our mom. The amazing staff members are so supportive. Our mother thoroughly enjoys the variety of engaging events each day plus the social aspect. Thank you!

  As we move through the circle of life, we often realize that our loved ones may need some assistance to maintain a safe and enjoyable lifestyle. I highly recommend the beautiful Chelsea Assisted Living at White Plains to satisfy those needs. My dear friend moved into his lovely studio apartment at the Chelsea a few months ago. He felt welcomed and comfortable in his new residence. Dave has become quite popular quickly making friends with other residents and all the staff. It is amazing how the staff knows everyone by name. It's like a new extended family. He enjoys the social activities that he would not have been able to experience if he remained at home alone. Of course, the dining room menu is a topic of good conversation. As a health care professional, I was also very impressed with the immediate attention provided by the nursing staff to meet Dave's medical needs. I would like to thank Francesca Caira and the rest of the Chelsea staff for making this transition happen and providing us all with peace of mind.
