  Had an absolutely wonderful time axe throwing at the Catskill Outdoorsman! Ryan was friendly and welcoming. He gave us a quick tutorial then we were out throwing and his pointers really helped us stick our throws! Highly recommend!

  Ryan is a great teacher and passionate about archery. The indoor range is wonderful for beginners. Visited with 4 kids, who all fit very comfortably without knocking into each other. Will definitely come back!

  This place was the best!
  
  As a large group, we had a blast. What made this place unforgettable was the owner/instructor Ryan. His introductory lesson for us novices was full of great advice and invaluable tips that allowed us to wield our bows with confidence. To top it all off, Ryan was super fun and welcoming, making us laugh and learn at the same time. Even though I’d never held a bow before, I was hitting arrows near the bullseye after just one short lesson from Ryan.
  
  If you or a group are in the area and looking for a fun and informative archery lesson (or just general outdoors knowledge), definitely give Ryan a look!

  We had an absolutely amazing time with Ryan at The Catskill Outdoorsman! Our group of ten guys was warmly welcomed and treated to an unforgettable archery session filled with fun, entertainment, and learning.   Ryan hosted our group of 10 guys for an incredibly fun, entertaining, and informative archery session. His expertise in archery and all things outdoors is very evident as he gave us great pointers and an overview of the sport. He is also an all around great guy to hang with and made us feel welcome.
