  Words cannot describe the perfection put into this historically refurbished and documented building. Family run bagel shop that should not be compared to New York bagels but as a wholesome, carefully created bagels- for a unique taste and satisfaction. I had the poppy seed bagel- flour milled in Vermont - and a million poppy seeds covering this bagel with whipped cream cheese for perfection.
  We visited during a very busy time however the service was satisfying along with our purchase. This can quickly become a destination cafe/bakery once the word gets out.
  Highly recommend poppy seed bagel however much more will be explored. Super kudos to the owners.

  What a delightful experience from the helpful staff to the notice that everything is made as it should be, from scratch with love. In an era of mass produced foods that seem so impersonal this experience was quite opposite. I waited patiently for what was a fantastic bagel - perfectly chewy yet tender texture, with a crisp, shiny crust that provides a satisfying bite. The flavor “Hawaiian Sea Salt” had a mild sweetness and a subtle hint of yeastiness, complemented by a delicate balance of salt and earthy / smoky flavor. This bagel left a lasting impression of quality, craftsmanship, and authenticity. No doubt, the wait, the line - its all worth it. Slow down and savor what they have to offer.

  The bread lover's bagel shop! With a number of other great bagel shops in a close vecinity, it would be hard to stand out. But the Blue House manages to go above and beyond that.
  
  Their sourdough bagels are truly a unique experience. A wonderful thin and crunchy crust gives way to a crumb that is somehow light, soft, slightly airy, and with a great chew. You know how when you toast a bagel it starts to dry out? The Blue House's do not thanks to their sourdough base. It manages to maintain that lovely moist and chewy interior crumb while taking on a crunchy exterior shell that nearly shatters as you bite through. The contrasts of textures was something I never knew you could capture in something so "everyday" as a bagel.
  
  I would have no problem eating one of these bagels plain but... of course you need some cream cheese! Once again setting themselves apart from the others in the area, the Blue House offers creative spread flavors. The special cream cheese of the week when I went was "sour cherry chocolate chip" but they also had enticing options like "vanilla party" and "fig" which I've never seen before. Coupling a French Toast bagel (which had a thin cinnamon-sugary shell) with the sour cherry chocolate chip cream cheese made for a decadent and addictive breakfast. Such a good combo.
  
  Lastly, staff was very welcoming and inviting. Greeted with multiple "good mornings" and they were happy to answer any questions.
  
  Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

  These bagels are really good. Very flavorful and fresh. My favorite bagels in the area. Breakfast sandwich is solid, ingredients are fresh, egg was a little overdone. Coffee is also pretty good too. Great spot to stop for breakfast or grab some bagels.
  
  Parking can be a pain, part of our small town charm 😉.

  What great, fresh bagels from a lovely family bakery. We attended the grand opening, wow! The excitement of the customers to have this adorable, family owned bagel cafe was palpable. Who would have expected lines to start forming hours before the opening time? The bagels and baked goods were worth waiting for, and the owners and staff worked very hard and greeted everyone warmly and professionally, despite the challenge of serving such a big crowd. Wishing you much success. I'll be back!
