  I am always looking for new parks to explore with my dog. This was a great one. He met a lot of different animals including other dogs, deer and a turtle. Trails are fairly wide and easily navigated. Looking forward to coming back.

  I took my dog here and she loved it! There were plenty of side trails that were interesting and the terrain and was rough but my dog really enjoyed it. Wasn’t many people which was a plus. Do not take you’re dog off leash unless it’s trained though! I ran into other dog owners!! And watch for ticks!The park was free to park as well! 10/10

  Terrel River Park is an amazing place for walks and has about 2.5km one way from North - South. You can see many pets and their owners along the way usually ^^.
  
  The view from the beach (south end) is AMAZING and is a great place to have lunch or hang out. If you head to the southmost end and then head east, there are additional trails, but you have to have an adventerous spirit to go on them :)
  
  If walking at near-night, be sure to bring a flashlight.

  Nice walking trail to the ocean inlet. If you take the full trail, it is about 2.3 miles. The trail is marked with white rectangles on the trees. Small parking area that is not paved. I did not see a sign on Montauk Hwy that the parking area was coming up.
