  I'm writing this review on Rosh Hashanah 2022 (I know, I know, but I'm reform so I can get away with it.) I checked out the Temple Website tonight having not had contact for a few years and was stunned to see a few negative reviews. In the interest of fairness, I felt compelled to leave my own review. I have always found Rabbi Stanway to be welcoming, upbeat, nice, and caring. Although I haven't been a member in over 10 years, any time since my membership lapsed when I would attend an event at the temple, the Rabbi still greeted me by name, shook my hand, and welcomed me back. When we were members, the non-jewish members of my immediate family were always welcomed by Rabbi Stanway and Mrs. Stanway. I always felt welcome and significant. It saddens me to read some of the negative reviews here. My suggestion to anyone who might be considering joining Temple Beth Miriam is to make an appointment to meet Rabbi Stanway. He's a really good guy and I'm certain that he will make you feel as welcome as he always makes me feel.

  I was had my bar Mitzvah and my son had his
  Rabbi Cy is a very nice family man. He’s a cool rabbi and a great guitarist. His services are FUN.

  TBM is a wonderful spiritual community... so open and welcoming to all. Great religious school! Also there are many events, adult education classes, and women’s & men’s clubs to get involved in.

  Welcoming, warm and positive environment. My children and their children educated here. Weddings, namings, brit, b'nai mitzvahs all wonderful memories!!!! TBM is my spiritual and community home!!!! Come join us!!!!
