  The staff here is wonderful. We usually get take out and the ingredients are high quality. Everything is cooked perfectly. They do NOT use msg.

  Our server was very very polite and attentive. The food was pretty good. I still have yet to find pad Thai that compares to Vegas pad Thai but this place still made a great version. I will definitely go here again. It was a little too quiet though.

  Two of us ate in just prior to the dinner rush on a Saturday evening. The interior of the restaurant is clean, fairly classy, a bit upscale even. Based on the seemingly recently remodeled interior and very average price of the food ($15 or so for a noodle or rice-base entree) my expectations for the food were lower than average. You know how it is: if the inside of the place is expensive but the food isn't, usually the food sucks. This is a rare example of the opposite being true.
  
  The food was FANTASTIC. For two people, we had a "sushi for 2," ($42) as well as Japanese seafood fried rice and a seafood yaki udon ($15 each.) We ordered a little more than normal since we expected smaller portions. This was incorrect. The sushi for 2 wasn't just GENEROUSLY portioned, but beautifully arranged and delicious. There was no skimping on the fish, and I've never had such a fantastically fatty, buttery salmon sushi. Heck, even the California roll was great. I am always critical of California rolls because they're my least favorite, but y'know what? I'd absolutely eat that California roll again. The miso soup was a little cooler than I'd have liked, but the sushi itself was the perfect temperature.
  
  Then came the Japanese fried rice and seafood yaki udon... Wow! Portions were ideal, on the generous side. Both dishes involved seafood; usually that means a handful, almost always less than you'd like. This was not the case, there was plenty of it. And all of the seafood was cooked perfectly, even the squid which is a difficult animal to cook without becoming rubbery. Both dishes were very obviously made fresh, based on temperature, texture, and vivid appearance. Someone in the back clearly knows what they're doing! And for $15 a dish?! I've had similar dishes elsewhere for twice the cost and they paled in comparison. The yaki udon noodles were either handmade or very high end previously frozen. The chew on the noodles could not have been better. The rice had that smoky hibachi flavor and aroma to it that you forgot you missed so much. As I type this review two days later, I'm salivating just reliving the dishes.
  
  We were seated near the door, so occasionally a stiff chilly draft would hit us. When the front desk phone rings, it announces the number quite loudly. That's all okay, the quality and value of the food made these small imperfections easily forgiven. If anything, I'm happy the phone's ringing: that means business is good. As for the draft... It's winter. If I had said anything to the hostess i have no doubt she would have reseated us further into the restaurant.
  
  Bottom line is that Tang Asia Bistro surpassed all my expectations when it came to the food. I'd love to post photos, but everything was so good that I forgot to take them prior to digging in. The low price of the dishes we ordered did not reflect the optimally prepared, perfectly textured, and flavor-rich food we ate. Did I mention it's a 40-minute drive for me? I'd eat there again, no questions asked.

  I have passed by this place for a couple years, never stopping by as I am not a sushi fan. Based on the name and "sushi bar" outside, it never peeked any interest. In looking for something different to eat in the area, I stumbled across their menu. Such a wonderful selection of Asian Fusion dishes. The food is fantastic!! Can't wait to go back. Very fresh, high quality and full of flavor. Some of the common Asian dishes but also a great selection of their own creations.
  Way more than sushi! It's worth the visit!!

  My girlfriend and I have been going here for years, very friendly and hospitable, great atmosphere. We usually get take out, the Pork fried rice is the best we've ever had, I always get the House Mei Fun which is excellent, Best Spring rolls around along with the best wonton soup. Also there scallion pancakes are good too (don't get if you don't like a little grease 😋). Prices vary depending on what you get, but they have a huge variety for many different pallets 😃😃😃 (Sushi is excellent also, and I read a comment about other places around... well unless you want sushi from stop and shop or big y, Tangs is the best place around for sushi 🍣 😋 👌)
