A friend with the hanger next to Howard suggested I look into Tailwinds and I've never looked back. Friendly experienced staff and well maintained aircraft make this a great place to learn to fly. The other benefit is training at a towered airport, it really gives you the full experience and helps sharpen your radio skills.

(April 12, 2022, 9:46 am)I had the pleasure of trying out a flight with Jigar, one of the flight instructors at school. The experience was phenomenal, from the safety to the stunning views of the flight. To start, Jigar was very professional and made sure that we were comfortable, understood safety procedures, and was a clear and reassuring instructor. The plane was well maintained and had the latest technology to ensure a smooth flight. I would highly recommend this flight school!

(February 1, 2022, 6:49 pm)I had a wonderful intro flight! Everyone was kind and patient and my flight was absolutely gorgeous. Jigar was an excellent instructor. He was explained everything thoroughly and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. I would recommend Tailwinds to everyone!

(September 21, 2021, 4:16 pm)The communication before the scheduling was good and fast. What I really love about this company that they improve themselves and do their best to address any limitations.
Bonnie Day the Office Manager is fantastic and a great person to work with. He was able to solve all issues immediately with no hesitation.
The instructor was competent. We felt safe with him and he showed two maneuvers with us.
Definitely we will
try this experience again.
