  The Physicians are one of a kind. They genuinely care for you and your well being, and take the time to listen to your thoughts, concerns and fears. You are not rushed, judged, or disregarded.
  Even the office itself and grounds were created with you in mind, with areas you may spend time in, if you wish to.They are tranquil and comforting. There are peacocks and other animals roaming the property. The office receptionists are kind and friendly.
  This place is a diamond in the rough, a little piece of paradise in the midst of this crazy world. I never thought I would say that about a doctors office, but I’m glad that I can. I know my health is in good hands.

  Coming to this practice saved my life. I truly believe this and stand strong by it. When I first came in they looked at me like a human and I felt they were truly concerned for my life. They took time to get to know me for who I am and not like another addict looking to score. This was the 1st time I felt safe to express myself. If I went in and had a bad month I could come clean to them without them taking me off the program. These doctors treat you how u should be treated and because of the relationship I have with them is the reason I stay clean month to month. If u are looking for help call them because they can save you just like they saved me. Bottom line best doctors I have ever came in contact with.

  Dr. J. Kurt Grovenburg is an extremely knowledgeable physician and the most caring and compassionate healthcare providers I have ever known. Even prior to officially becoming a patient, I had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Grovenburg and staff on the phone several times. They treated me then as if I had been a patient there for years. Dr. Grovenburg, his wife (Dr. Lucinda) and staff truly care about people in a way that is hard to come by these days. You never feel rushed or like you are just another number. Regardless of my ailments, Dr. Grovenburg takes the necessary time to discuss, examine and take the most appropriate course of action. I'm grateful I found this office when I did and I hope others do too.

  Tobasco Healthcare is owned by the married dream team of Dr. J. Kurt Grovenburg and Dr. Lucinda Grovenburg. Can't forget Robin! (She keeps the office moving, Lol) I consider what they do to be sort of Recovery based medicine. As in they go above and beyond to try and help people, help themselves get through and over their addictions and afflictions. They're 2 of a very limited amount of medical professionals that deal with things like Suboxone and other meds that can help an individual "kick" the addictive drugs they're struggling with.
  The entire property almost seems like it was designed to bring a zen like peace to one's spirit! Whether it's a walk up to the labyrinth or over to the sheep, rams, llamas and peacocks! In fact, everything about Tabasco Health care brings a Zen like peace to your soul...

  Unorthodox health care
  About two hours North of NYC, in a funky little town named Kerhonkson, there is a spunky doctor's office. The office is named the Tabasco Health Care, where the building is wierd, as it is made from naturally pigmented clays and compacted earth, and the doctors even farther from the norm. These doctors Doctor Kurt nad Lucinda Grovenburg do not pratice ordinary health care and treat the pateints as appointments but take their time and learn about the individual. Most patients upon leaving declare, " Wow, i have never meet a doctor like that" and become regulars as they like the facility and people soo much.
